Round #1 World Superbike Championship 2017 27 February 2017

Phillip Island (AUS) - February 26th, 2017
It has ended positively the first weekend of racing for FALCO rider engaged in the spectacular Australian circuit of Phillip Island where officially started the 2017 racing season, the 30th regarding the World Superbike.
Spanish rider ROMAN RAMOS (Team Go Eleven Kawasaki) completed two good races respectively in 13th and 14th final positions and over the weekend showed always consistency that will be the key to face successfully the long Championship's season.

Now riders will prepare for the next round, scheduled on March 12th in Thailand, for the third time on the circuit of Buriram.

Roman Ramos 40 (WSBK race 1; 13th):
"The weekend has started not being very good. I think we can be more forward and stronger.
In the first few laps the bike of Brooks was leaking liquid and I had to pass it, I have not trusted to push hard, so I lost contact with the front group. I fought as much with De Angelis and in the end we won on him."

Roman Ramos 40 (WSBK race 2; 14th):
"I was behind the group to safeguard the tires until four laps to go then I attacked surpassing De Angelis, Brooks and Reiterberger, but then they overtake me on the straight at photo finish.
The team has worked very hard to make a competitive bike and I think we can be competitive in the top 10."
