Round #6 World Superbike Championship 28 May 2017

Donington (UK) - May 28th 2017

Roman performs 8th spot wonder with an incredible race 2 at Donington Park projecting him at just one point from the top 10 in the World Superbike standings.
Friday Roman missed for a few milliseconds the direct access to superpole 2, he try again in superpole 1 but makes a mistake and is forced to start from the 19 grid position. He does not worry about this, knowing that he have a good race pace and takes a good 11th place in Race 1 and an exciting 8th place in Race 2, after a move up of 11 positions … a real show!
The team returns with high enthusiasm and ambitions are ever higher for the next stage at Misano Adriatico.

Roman Ramos 40 (WSBK race 1; 11th): I knew that I had to start well if I wanted to do a good race, I have done it but in the sector 2 missing traction and i was not fast as I wanted, in the final I set Savadori. We got a good result but if we can improve something for the race two we can fight further ahead.

Roman Ramos 40 (WSBK race 2; 8th):
It was a nice race for us, starting 19th and finish 8th, means that we did a good job! The track conditions were not very good but I tried to ride clean without damage the tires, this paid and my race pace was better than in race 1. I’m happy, we go home with another important result and for this I have to thank my team.
